Community of Bridgetown is in Nova Scotia, nestled in the beautiful

The community
is rich in history and was a successful wooden shipbuilding
area during the 19th century, accounting for many grand homes;
it was incorporated in 1897, celebrating its 100th year of incorporation
in 1997.
The community of Bridgetown (pop. approx 1,000) is located along
the Annapolis River in Nova Scotia's Annapolis County and its
claim to being the 'friendly community' is solidified when people
stop to greet each other on every corner.
The Bridgetown area boasts of outstanding recreational facilities,
including an arena, a swimming pool, a curling club, a lawn
bowling club, tennis courts, soccer and ball fields, a riverfront
park, an 18-hole golf course and a provincial park. Each summer
Bridgetown plays host to a triathlon, which draws competitors
